    Hello Karen
I have heard that there is a family thing on in Ohaupo in February 22. Could you give me the details and is it too late to book for the dinner

  2. Pamela Johnson says:

    Hello Karen,
I’ve just visited Ohaupo as my late mother, Marie Stanton,(nee Higgins) wished me to. It is a gem of a place, and so green this time of year.
We are descended from Anna and Joseph Karl. Their son Patrick, is my grandmother Camilla Higgins (nee Karl)’s father. I was very excited to see the area where they settled after coming from Puhoi.
I’d love to receive your newsletter, especially any back copies that mention the Karl family.
    Thank you,
    Pamela Johnson
